Dell Vostro 1400

Reinstall of the Dell Vostro 1400 laptops required a variety of drivers. They were installed in the order recommended by Dell by placing them in numbered folders within $oem$\$1\drivers\V1400\###

    R154200 - Intel SATA Chipset
  3. Video Adapter

  4. Network Interface Card
    R155246 - Broadcom Ethernet
  5. Audio Adapter

  6. Modem
    R147115
  7. Wireless Network Card
    R151517 - Dell Wireless Card
  8. Input Devices
    R165804 - Dell Touchpad
  9. Other Device (Bluetooth, Broadband, PCMCIA/Smartcard, etc.)
    R161772 - Ricoh Multimedia Card chipset

    A couple of driver files had long filenames that were being truncated to 8.3 length when copied to the workstation. Renaming information for those was added to $oem$\$1\$$Rename.txt:

    WdfCo~6I.DLL="WdfCoInstaller01005.dll"

    Dell System Software
    Installers for the Dell Notebook System Software (R154270) and the Dell QuickSet software (R166703) were called via \scripts\dell_vostro1400.bat<\code> script. The packages were saved in <code>\packages\dell\R<######>\.
